Generation 1 Chapter 1

On a cold, rainy day, two year old Peyton Jones was playing with her dolls at her grandparent's house.

Peyton's parents were on a business trip overseas to New York for a week. Unfortunately, as the plane was landing at their destination, it blew up in flames. No one survived the crash.
The hardest part was when Peyton's grandfather heard this news via the television. He couldn't hold in the tears. When his wife asked what was wrong, he had to explain what he had heard. He eventually had to share the news with Peyton, but she was too young to understand.

Peyton then lived with her grandparents all through her childhood in the family's beloved cottage in Sunset Valley. Her grandparents needed caring for when Peyton was in her teens, so she spent the majority of her time cleaning the house and cooking meals.

One Wednesday morning, the weather was cold, rainy and very dark as the sun was hidden behind black clouds. Peyton was twenty years old and attending a gifted university for writing. While she was on her lunch break, she received a terrible phone call. Her grandparents have passed away in a house fire and the majority of the house was burnt down.

Peyton was devastated! She had no home and no family members. She was now on her own.
After a couple of days sleeping at the local park and using its facilities, a group of cleaners had finally cleared the broken, burnt down house. Peyton went back to the lot where her home used to be and burst into tears.

She took a taxi to the nearby furniture store and bought a few necessities with the small amount of money in her pocket. She didn't want to give up. Not just yet. She was determined to raise enough money to build a house and hopefully get married and start a family.

Introduction

I am attempting one of the Sims 3 Legacy Challenges where I have to play the lives of a family of Sims through 10 generations.

The challenge begins with a single founder who HAS to move into 15 Summer Hill Court. This leaves only a very small amount of money to built a house on, but this isn't called a challenge for nothing...

Here is a link for the rules and everything you need to know if you want to attempt the Legacy Challenge as well: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/39862.page
